This trip was held on June 22-26. We stayed at a church in Aurora and worked with the local youth playing sports and doing art projects.

This has turned into an Elburn event every fall. Not only because of the great food, but there were raffle baskets, craft items for sale, and entertainment by our Paster Jeff who performs on the organ!

This event is sponsered by the Elburn Chamber of Commerce. This year we joined their membership and participated as a warming station. But that's not all, walkers got to decorate their own fresh baked cookies!

This is an annual event at the Bateman's farm. They have an authentic log cabin that is so cool. It is really scary because Rowland drives the hay wagon way too fast, but this event is so popular, with a bonfire, and of course Stevie's amazing chili, we repeated on a second weekend!
