Our Sunday Morning Worship services September through May are at 10:30am and June through August at 9:30 am. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. During the season of Lent we have a weekly Holy Communion service at 7:00pm. We have other services as announced.
We have a friendly and a relaxed traditional service. However, as our church grows, we plan on having two services: one contemporary with a praise band and the other traditional.
Adult Education is offered at 9:30am (September through May) and at 8:00 AM (June through August). We also have Sunday school at 9:30am (September through May).
Younger children may attend the service until the children’s message offered by our pastor. After that, children may be dismissed from worship and can play in our supervised nursery until the end of the service. Sunday school, for children 4 years – 7th grade, is held downstairs in the Christian Education wing at 9:00 (except during summer hours). Here the kids sing, play, and learn about God in a place where they are safe and loved. See more detail by clicking on the Sunday school button on the top navigation bar, including other activities available for young adults.
No. You are welcome to come as you are. If you join us on Sunday, you will see some people wearing suits and dresses, but you will also see people wearing jeans and slacks. Please wear clothes that make you feel comfortable. Our services in the sanctuary are air conditioned.
We will not ask you to stand up and introduce yourself in front of everyone. We want you to be comfortable when you visit. Near the beginning of our service, we will provide a few moments for people to meet and chat with one another. We think that you will be more comfortable meeting a few people seated around you who are genuinely interested in getting to know you.
We want you to know about Jesus. His message is about good news. He did not come to condemn us, but to give us life. While it is important to recognize that all of us fall short of God’s ideals, it is even more important to know of God’s love for you and that Jesus has changed the world and can change your life.
No. If you are a visitor, we don’t expect you to give. For now, we want you to have an opportunity to check us out without feeling pressured to give money. In time, if you decide to become a part of our family, you may decide that you would like to participate monetarily in our activities and efforts. As that time, we would welcome your participation.
We practice open communion. All who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are invited to participate in the sacrament of communion. Children are welcome as well.
Throughout the year we offer a class called, "Exploring the Christian Faith." This is the best way to learn about our beliefs and practices. Membership in this church is open to all persons of Christian faith and character who assent to its covenant on confession of faith and baptism, by letter of recommendation from another Christian church, or by a reaffirmation of faith in Christ.
